Ruth Cordelia Miller, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and dear friend to many, age 82 of Saint Peter, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2019.

Please join us in celebrating her life on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at the Church of St. Peter. Memorial mass is at 11:00 with visitation from 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the church.

Ruth’s life was full of family, friends and faith. She was born April 5th, 1936 in Mankato, MN to Peter and Madeline Peters. She married Charles Miller on August 9th, 1958. Her life was enriched with 10 children and many wonderful friends. Her thoughtfulness was shown frequently to family and friends with a handmade card or homemade caramel rolls. We will always remember 4th of July and Christmas celebrations on her farm, as well as Thanksgivings in California. She was active in her church community and her church choir and was often called upon to utilize her expert pie making skills.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and sisters Shirley and Bernice. She is survived by her children, Susan (Steve), Kathy (Rex), Julie, Lisa (John), Patty (Tim), Steve, Paul (Autumn), Jenny (Jake), Becky (Joe), Andy (Jackie), 17 grandchildren, siblings Jerome Peters (Marlys), Miriam Vetter (Greg), Elizabeth Peters, Barbara Gould, Chuck Peters (Jo Ann), and Jean Helgesen (Tim).
