Patricia Elaine was born March 22, 1945 to Norman and Adelia (Rosvold) Grande in Granite Falls, MN. She graduated from Cottonwood High School in 1963, then went on to graduate from Bethany Lutheran College and Mankato State College. She worked at the Mankato Library before meeting her future husband Curtis E. Redning on a blind date in 1968 and married him July 20, 1969; the day of the moon landing. They made their home in Cottonwood. Upon the death of her parents, they moved to the family farm where they farmed until 1976. They then moved to St. Peter, where she worked as a homemaker and a clerk at various businesses in St. Peter until she was declared legally blind and unable to work any longer. She enjoyed reading, puzzle books, going out to eat, visiting with family and friends, collecting cows and John Deere tractors.
Pat is survived by a son, Chris of St. Peter; two daughters: Carrie (Brian) Radloff of Mankato and Cathlin (Daniel) Schwarze of St. Peter; and her grand dogs and cats. She is preceded in death by her husband Curtis of 43 years, her parents and in-laws, aunts, uncles and cousins.
