Gerald A. Bartlett

Services for Gerald (Jerry) Bartlett, age 83, of St. Peter who died Wednesday, October 24 at Benedictine Community Living Community in St. Peter will be at 11:00am on Friday, November 2 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in St. Peter with visitation one hour prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Peter Lutheran Church in St. Peter.
     Jerry was born August 26, 1935 to Fred and Ida (Gierke) Bartlett.  He was baptized and confirmed at the St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in St. Peter.  He graduated from St. Peter High School and worked at the Kasota Quarry and was a custodian for the St. Peter American Legion until his retirement due to a medical condition.
      Jerry enjoyed dancing, playing bingo, and was always there to open the door for tenants and visitors at Parkview Manor where he resided.  He will always be remembered for his gentle demeanor and kind heart.  He was a thankful man and appreciated all his friends. 
     Jerry is survived by his sister, Betty Gibbs-Hager and husband Gene; brother, Thomas and wife Bonnie Bartlett; sister in laws, LaDonna Bartlett and Veleta Bartlett; several nieces and nephews and many friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, Margaret Kenny, Mildred Sinclair, Beatrice Evelyn, Bonnie Luskey; and three brothers, Kenneth Bartlett, Lyle Bartlett, Donald Bartlett, Alan Bartlett.
