Hazel Wilma Quick, age 78, of St. Peter, Minnesota, died Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota.
Memorial Service will be Tuesday, July 17 at 11 a.m. at the St. Peter Funeral Home in St. Peter. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. There will be a reception at the Red Men Club in St. Peter following the service. Interment will take place at Kasota Hill Cemetery in Kasota at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Hazel’s family.
Hazel was born August 15, 1939 in St. Peter to William and Leona (Puffpaff) Dillon. She graduated from St. Peter High School in 1957. Hazel and Arnold Quick were married in June of 1960 at First Lutheran Church in St. Peter. She worked for Midwest Electric for over 25 years. Hazel was an active member in the Kasota Legion Auxiliary Post 348. Hazel enjoyed traveling, fishing, and attending Minnesota Twins baseball games.
Hazel is survived by her sons, Michael (Marie Ykema) of St. Peter and Marshall of North Mankato; grandchildren, Joyce Anderson (Mark Schwarze) and Cameron Quick; great-grandchildren, Aidan Anderson and Lillian Schwarze; and special friend, Robert Depuydt. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arnold in 1985; sister, Jacqueline “Jaci” Compart; and brother, Harlan Dillon.
