Bruce Seastrand

Rudolph “Bruce” Seastrand, age 77 of St. Peter, MN died from complications of Lewy Body Dementia on Saturday, January 27, 2018.
Survived by beloved wife of 54 years, Barbara; three children, Amy (Clinton Collins) of Minneapolis, Erik (Jami) of Los Angeles, CA, and Lori (Mike Abeln) of Lakeville, MN; grandchildren, Olivia and Drake Seastrand, and Quinn Collins; and sisters, Barbara (Joe) Eder and Mary (Harlan) Lyso. Preceded in death by parents, Rev. Rudolph and Peggy Seastrand.
Bruce was a proud alumni of Gustavus Adolphus College and pursued education on the other side of the desk as a high school administrator at Thornton Township High School in Harvey, IL, Menomonie High School in Menomonie, WI, and Germantown High School in Germantown, WI.
Retirement in St. Peter enabled Bruce to volunteer for VINE, help neighbors, and spend time with family and friends.
Our loving and steadfast husband, father, grandfather, and friend will live on in our hearts. Greatest Peace be with Bruce as he is now with his Lord.
Celebration of Bruce’s life will be held Friday, February 9, at Hosanna Lutheran Church in Mankato, MN. Visitation at 3 pm; memorial service at 4:30 pm. St. Peter Funeral Home is assisting the family.
