Gary Michael Sannes

Gary Michael Sannes, age 76 of St. Peter, Minnesota and formerly East Grand Forks, North Dakota died Friday, November 3, 2017 at Pheasants Ridge Assisted Living and Memory Care.

Memorial service will be Thursday, November 9 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Peter Lutheran Church in St. Peter (427 W. Mulberry St.) with a one hour visitation prior to the service at church. Burial will take place at a later date at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery. St. Peter Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements.

Gary was born July 7, 1941 to Clarence and Violet (Nelson) Sannes in Grand Forks, North Dakota. He married Judy Boettcher on September 13, 1977 in Grand Forks. Gary owned the Sewing Machine Exchange until The Flood of 1997. He was a member of the American Legion in Alvarado, Minnesota. Gary loved fishing and spending time on the farm, restoring his Allis- Chalmers tractor.  

He is survived by his wife, Judy, of 40 years; sons, Andrew (Jenny) and Michael (Stacy) Sannes; grandson, Aedan; and brothers, Roger and Don. He was preceded in death by his parents.
