Jean D. Pettis

Jean D.  Pettis, age 84 of Kasota, died August 2, 2016 in Lexington, South Carolina.

Memorial service will be 12:00 noon on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at St. Peter Funeral Home – Klein Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, St. Peter.

Jean Darlene was born on March 31, 1932 in Sedan, MN to Samuel and Louise (Hanson) Strandmo. Jean was a tremendous cook and enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by her children: Mike (Mary) and Shari (Kelly) Rankin; grandchildren: Jenna (Nathan) Schwaab and Amy & Elizabeth Rankin; sisters: Bernice Hendrickson and Carolyn (Richard) Frisbie; sister-in-law Lenore Larson; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Willis in 2011, her parents and several siblings.
