Richard “Rick” Weber, age 60 of St. Peter, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at home surrounded by his family in St. Peter.
Memorial service is 11:00 am Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church, St. Peter with visitation one hour prior. A celebration of life will be held at Hobber's Bar and Grill in St. Peter following the service. The St. Peter Funeral Home is assisting the family. Memorials are preferred to Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, St. Croix Hospice, and Andreas Cancer Center-Mayo Health.
Rick was born on December 24, 1955 in St. Peter to Eugene and Henrietta (Miller) Weber. He grew up in St. Peter and graduated from Mankato State University. He was married to and had three girls with Barb (Gerke) Weber. He enjoyed managing the family business, Weber’s 76 Car Wash. He most recently worked for LJP Waste and Recycling. He liked to play tennis and racket ball, was an avid MN sports fan, loved listening to live music, spending time at the cabin and playing cards. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and newly becoming a Grandpa.
His children, Ashley and Drew Tolzman (grandbaby Geno), Mackenzie and Molly are so grateful to have had him as a father. Rick was also survived by his sister Jane Grafstrom, niece Bridget and Brian Boche and their daughters Grace, Lillian and Adeline; special mother in law Mary Jean Richter; and many other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Butch Weber.
