Delila E. Zielske

Delila Ernestine Zielske, 75 of Le Center, died Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Benedictine Living Community in St. Peter.

Per Delila’s wishes, no services will be held. St. Peter Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Delila was born March 7, 1940 in Pleasant Mound Township, MN to Anton and Elvira (Prill) Kietzer. She attended country school through 8th grade and graduated from Truman High School. Delila married Lawrence “Larry” Zielske on December 12, 1964 in Blue Earth. For many years, she sewed items and sold them through the Courage Center. In her spare time, Delila enjoyed fishing with Larry, gardening and canning, and spending time with her cats.

She is survived by her husband, Larry of Le Center; sons, Dennis Zielske of Vernon Center, Larry Zielske of Fargo, and Steve (Tiara) Zielske of St. Peter; 6 grandchildren; and sister, Gladys Jorgenson of New Ulm. Delila was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Howard and Gordon Kietzer; and sister, Arlene Armstrong.
