MariJane (Loken) Dummer

MariJane Dummer, age 60 of Crystal, MN, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2015 at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church in Plymouth. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 pm Monday, August 17th at the church as well as 10:00 am on Tuesday. Burial will be at 3:45 pm on Tuesday at Greenhill Cemetery in St. Peter. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or the Animal Humane Society. MariJane was born on August 22, 1954 in Windom, MN to Curtis and Leona (Lund) Loken. She lived in St. Peter, MN where she attended Gustavus Adolphus College, graduating with a Bachelor Degree in Music. On July 26, 1980 she was united in marriage to Lee Dummer in St. Peter. They made their home in Crystal, MN and MariJane worked as a Technology Support Specialist for the Hopkins School District. She was active in her church as a member of the Women Walking in Faith (WWF) and was also a member of the Medalist Concert Band. She enjoyed music, reading, doing cross stitch, gardening and traveling. She was a Twins Baseball fan and loved cats. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Lee Dummer; daughter, Laura Dummer (fiancée Joe Ferris); father, Curtis Loken; sister, Kristen Loken; Lee's family; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Leona in 2011.
