Phyllis Lokensgard Hillger Annexstad

August 4, 1927 — July 15, 2015

Phyllis was born August 4, 1927, to Herbert and Emelia (Siverson) Lokensgard in Dawson, MN. She graduated from high school in El Reno, OK, in 1945, and from Oklahoma College for Women in 1949. She taught high school sciences for a short time in Paul's Valley, OK. She was married to Willis C. Hause in 1950, who passed away in 1956 in Findlay, OH. After moving to St. Peter in May 1957, she married Lester W. Hillger in 1958, who taught and coached at St. Peter High School and passed away in 1970. Phyllis was employed by St. Peter public schools as a substitute teacher, and nurse's office assistant. Phyllis married Martin Annexstad of Norseland in 1985, who passed away in 1997. She was also preceded in death by her parents, sisters Charlotte Lokensgard in 1939 and Marjorie Larson in 2015, and brother Mike Lokensgard in 2015. Survivors include son Herb (Karen) Hause of Compton, Maryland, daughters Diane (Jeff) Ellerbusch of Rochester, MN, and Carolyn (Pat) Roach of St. Peter, MN. Grandchildren include William Hause (Celebration, FL), Thomas (April) Hause (Gig Harbor, WA), Matthew (Margaret) Hause (Norfolk, VA), and Jennifer (Justin) Hause Motenko (Carlsbad, CA); Jay (Brittany) Ellerbusch (Northfield, MN) and Joseph (fiancee Zoe) Ellerbusch (Madison, WI); and Nathan, Courtney, and Megan Roach (St. Peter); great grandchildren Emma and Christopher Hause (Gig Harbor, WA); and sister Natalie Thiele (Tampa, FL). Phyllis , 87, passed away on July 15, 2015. Trinity Lutheran Church of St. Peter will host visitation from 4-7 PM Tuesday July 21, and Funeral Services at 11:00 AM Wednesday July 22 with visitation an hour prior. A small family interment will follow the service at Resurrection Cemetery. St. Peter Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
