Cleo L. Tesch

Cleo L. Tesch, 81 of St. Peter, died Thursday, June 4, 2015, at Pheasants Ridge in St. Peter. Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 13, at Trinity Lutheran Church in St. Peter with Rev. Joy Ekstedt officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Urn Burial will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. St. Peter Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Cleo was born Feb. 18, 1934 in Woodstock, Minn., to Guy Ernest and Hazel (Reese) Baack. She married Russell Tesch Sept. 24, 1950. They made their home in Madison, Minn., and Cleo worked as a sales clerk and as a seamstress. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield and Faith Lutheran Church in Madison. She was a member of the church ladies aide, Eastern Star, American Legion Auxiliary and multiple bridge clubs. Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Corinne (Keith) Kreft of St. Peter, Cathy (Robert) Bangtson of Long Prairie and Connie (James) Graham of Rosemount; grandchildren, Laura (John Branon) Ballman, Justin (Alicia) Bangtson, Emily (Jamie) Staples, Jacob (Kari) Bangtson, Nicholas Graham, Joel (Heather) Graham and Noah (Cory) Kreft; great-grandchildren, Isaac and Ava Branon, Cayden, Blake, Andrew and Madison Bangtson, Elsa, Brahm and Linley Staples, Bradley Bangtson and Sophia and Harrison Graham; siblings, David Baack and Leann Giesen. Cleo was preceded in death by her husband, Russell; an infant daughter; and her parents, Guy and Hazel Baack.
