Barbara Gwen (Wolfram) Domras, age 90 of Kasota, MN died on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at River's Edge Hospital in St. Peter, MN. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Presbyterian Church in Kasota with burial at Kasota Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday at St. Peter Funeral Home from 4:00-7:00 pm and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Barbara was born January 25, 1925 to Frederick and Beatrice (Chard) Wolfram in Belle Plaine Township, MN. She was baptized and confirmed at Belle Plaine Presbyterian Church. She attended District 37 Country School and then Belle Plaine High School; graduating in 1942. She sang in the church choir and taught Sunday school. She attended Mankato Business College. On September 25, 1946, she was united in marriage to Alton Domras in Belle Plaine. She worked for 25 years at the St. Peter State Hospital; retiring in 1985. She was a member of the Kasota Presbyterian Church where she served as an Elder and was a member of the Women's Society. She was a member of the Kasota Legion Auxiliary. Barbara enjoyed fishing, bird watching, embroidering, and spending time with family and friends (especially adoring her great grandchildren). Barbara is survived by her son, William (Vicky) Domras; grandchildren, Jeff (Erin) Domras, Michele Domras, Michael (Ann) Domras, and Jamie (Debbie) Domras; eight great grandchildren; daughter-in-laws, Bonnie (Domras) Volk and Chris Domras; sister, Janet Smith; sister-in-law, Anita Neubarth; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton; sons, Gregory and Ronald; granddaughter, Kristine Carlson; sisters, Dorothy Cooper and Fern Coleman; parents, Frederick and Beatrice; father-in-law, William; and mother-in-law, Leona.
