Joel Reineke, age 53 of Kasota, died on Monday, June 24, 2013. Private family services will be held. St. Peter Funeral Home " Klein Chapel is assisting with arrangements.
Joel was born in St. Peter on August 22, 1959 to Wallace and Lois Reineke. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church. He graduated from St. Peter High School in 1978. He later earned a degree in Tool and Die at Hutchinson Technical College. He presently was working for AMV Transportation in Mankato.
Joe was an avid deer hunter and sportsman and enjoyed watching Saturday night car racing at Arlington Raceway. He was known as "top row Joe". Joe adored and loves his nieces and nephews.
Joe is survived by his son, Jeremiah (Lindsey); father, Wally Reineke; sisters: Jan LeRoss of LeSueur, Julie Dupuis of St. Peter, and Jill Hollnagel of LeSueur; nieces and nephews: Liz (Tim) Baird of New Berlin WI, Dena and Brian Dupuis of St. Peter, Lindsey and Trevor LeRoss of St. Peter, Matt (Melissa) Hollnagel of LeSueur, and Sarah (Dan) Straub of LeSueur; Jeff's life partner Barb Samuelson and best buddy, his dog Blitz.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lois in 2012 and a brother, Jeffrey in 2002.
