Norma G Tostenson

Norma G. Tostenson, age 90 of Arlington, died Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at the Arlington Good Samaritan Center.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 30, 2012 at Norseland Lutheran Church with Rev. Craig Ferkenstad officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 " 7:00 p.m. Sunday at the St. Peter Funeral Home/Klein Chapel and will also continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place in Norseland Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the donor's choice.

Norma Gloria Tostenson was born March 1, 1921 to Arvid and Agnes (Olson) Johnson in Alsford Township, Sibley County, MN. She graduated from Gaylord High School in 1939. Norma married Tosten Tostenson on October 15, 1944. She worked at the New Sweden Phone Exchange as a Telephone Operator, the Norseland Store, Green Giant, the St. Peter Hospital Laundry, and she was also a dedicated homemaker. Norma was active in the Norseland Lutheran Church, the Bethany Lutheran College Auxiliary, and she loved sewing, knitting, gardening, baking, and was a race car enthusiast. Norma was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
