LuVerna A Lindberg

LuVerna A. Lindberg, age 93 of St. Peter, died on Monday, February 20, 2012 at the Grandview Good Samaritan Society in St. Peter. Private family services were held. Memorials may be directed toward the American Alzheimer's Association, Minnesota-North Dakota Chapter - 7900 West 78th Street, Suite 100, Minneapolis, MN 55439.

LuVerna Albertina was born on March 6, 1918 in Jordan, MN to Matt and Mary (Geis) Wolf. After graduating high school, she worked various jobs throughout her life including banking, accounting, secretary at St. Peter Elementary, sales and retail. She was united in marriage to Frank "Rudy" Lindberg after he returned from service in WWII. They made their home in St. Peter and she was a member of the Church of St. Peter Catholic Church.

LuVerna is survived by a son, Jim (Ruby) of Cordova TN, a sister, 2 sisters-in-law, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband "Rudy" in 1985, 2 sisters, 2 brothers, a sister-in-law and 3 brothers-in-law.
