Angeline E. Vernon, age 96 of Kasota, died on Sunday, April 8, 2012 at the hospital in Owatonna.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 1st Presbyterian Church in Kasota with Chris Conlin officiating. Burial will be at the Kasota Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. St. Peter Funeral home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Angeline was born on September 22, 1915 in Lime Township, Blue Earth County to Joseph and Laura (Bennett) Klein. She was united in marriage to J. Armand Vernon on May 15, 1937 in Mankato. She was a very active member of First Presbyterian in Kasota and enjoyed gardening, sewing and spending time with family.
She is survived by children: Betty (Tony) Nechanicky and Kathy (Dick) Lee; grandchildren: Sue Nechanicky (Kent Rasmussen), Dan (Kathy) Nechanicky, Mike (Rachel) Lee, Shelly (Brent) Loberg and Chris Lee; seven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband in 1996, parents, 3 sisters and 4 brothers.
