Kenneth "Butch" Warning Sr., age 71 of St. Peter, died on Sunday, October 7, 2012 at his home. A visitation will be held from 4 - 7PM on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at St. Peter Funeral Home - Klein Chapel.
Kenneth Duane was born on November 5, 1940 in St. Peter to Roy and Kathryn (Kraut) Warning. He attended St. Peter High School and graduated in 1958. After a brief stint at Gustavus Adolphus College, he served in the Naval Reserves for two years and began work at the family business, Warning Sheet Metal. Even after the business sold, he continued to work there until retirement. Kenneth enjoyed hunting, fishing and archery, and was a member of the St. Peter Valley Archers.
Kenneth is survived by his children: Butch (fiance Steph) and Cheryl (Patrick) Welch; five grandchildren: Connor, Ryan, Dillon, Emma and Cash; his mother, Kathryn; siblings: Chuck, Linda (Bruce) Ellefson and Steve; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father in 1993.
