Deborah Clara Ridout, age 49, of St. Peter, died Thursday, May 28, 2009 at Immanuel St. Joseph's Hospital, Mankato.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at the Church of St. Peter with Rev. Phil Schotzko officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, St. Peter. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m., Monday, June 1, 2009 at the Church of St. Peter with a 4:45 p.m., rosary service. Visitation will continue one hour before service at church on Tuesday. St. Peter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Debbie was born November 3, 1959 to Earl and Jannis (Hoffmann) Feilmeier in Carroll, Iowa. She graduated from Eldora High School, Eldora, Iowa in 1978. Debbie was married to Nelson "Bud" Ridout on April 20, 1978, they were later divorced. Debbie was employed by the St. Peter Regional Treatment Center. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and spending time with her three children. She was a devoted mother, sister, and friend.
Debbie is survived by her three children, Eric (Sarah) Ridout of Mankato, Mindy Ridout of Mankato, and Matthew Ridout of St. Peter; special friend of 16 years, Sam Snyder of St. Peter; mother, Jannis Feilmeier of Eldora, IA; four sisters, Kathy (Wes) Eklund of Elk River, Janet (Robert) Amuso of Ozark, AL, Jean (Alan) Droubie of Coon Rapids, Karla Feilmeier of Eldora, IA; three brothers, John Feilmeier of Eldora, IA, Clay (Tricia) Feilmeier of Dodge City, Kansas, and Earl (Holly) Feilmeier of Eldora, IA; several nieces and nephews.
Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Earl Feilmeier; sister, Joleen Feilmeier; grandparents, Clara and Wendelin Feilmeier and Leonard and Martha Hoffmann.
