Dawn Marie Bursell, beloved daughter and mother age 31 of Nicollet, MN. passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, June 12, 2011 due to health complications.
She enjoyed spending time fishing, going to rummage sales and on the computer keeping in touch with friends and family. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her daughter, Maddison, who was the love of her life.
Dawn is survived by her daughter, Maddison (Bursell) Veen; mother: Sherri Bursell (special friend Brian Wall) of Janesville MN; brother: Corey Bursell of Sioux City IA; maternal grandfather: Everett Flatt and his wife Judy of Le Center MN; Aunts: Michelle (Kevin) Bowers of Oakdale, PA, and Kathy (Richard) Busch of Mankato, MN; Uncle: Timothy (Christopher) Powell-Flatt of Melrose, MA; cousins: Brianna and Rachael Busch of Mankato, MN, and Reese, Abigail, and very well loved and adored Hannah Powell-Flatt of Melrose, MA; a nephew: Justin Cooke of Sioux City, IA; and many other family members too numerous to mention.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother: Naomi Flatt and paternal grandmother: Darlene Bursell.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 17, 2011 at Bethany Alliance Church in St. Peter with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery, St. Peter. St. Peter Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements
