Caroline C Niesen

Caroline C. Niesen, 48 of St. Peter passed away Saturday, August 20, 2011 after a hard battle with cancer.

Caroline was surrounded by her family when she passed at the farm that she and her husband, Kevin have shared their entire twelve year marriage. Caroline will always be remembered as a giver and nurturer even until her last days. Caroline's legacy is being carried out through those she has touched especially in her grandchildren, great-nieces, and great-nephews. They were the ones she found the most joy.

Caroline leaves behind her two sons: Joshua (Crystal) King-Olson and Jacob (girlfriend, Skilene Gimmer) Olson; her husband, Kevin and his children: Melissa (Micah) Giersdorf and Jamie (girlfriend, Wendy Pickett) Niesen; and four sisters: Debbie Davis, Ronda Goblirsch, Kathy Eager, and Rita Bittner

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church. Visitation will be held from 10-12 p.m., Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at the church. St. Peter Funeral Home-Klein Chapel assisted the family with arrangements.
