Kenneth F. Cram, age 72 of St. Peter, died peacefully at his home in St. Peter on Wednesday, October 05, 2011.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday October 7, 2011 at the Church of the Holy Communion Episcopal in St. Peter. Visitation will be from 4:00 " 7:00 pm on Thursday at St. Peter Funeral home and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.
Kenneth was born on January 20, 1939 in Waseca to Kenyon and Catherine (Grundhoffer) Cram. He was schooled in Waterville and in 1958 he enlisted in the US Army, serving in Germany and Cuba. After his military service he returned home to farm, until 1978 when he began working construction. He worked for Komatz Construction, Empire Paving and finally BMI in Faribault from which he retired in 2001. He was a life member of the St. Peter VFW, a member of the American Legion and the Red Men Club. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, sports, concerts, collecting country records and helping friends. Most of all, he was cherished and loving father and friend.
He is survived by four daughters: Shari Cram, Elizabeth Cram, Alicia (Andre) Lakhansihgh and Deidre Cram; 3 grandchildren; sisters: Carol Kletschka and Shirley Theander; and many other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother: Sherwood Cram.
