Leona May Betzing, age 89 of St. Peter, died Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at the Benedictine Living Community in St. Peter.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Trinity Lutheran Church, St. Peter with Rev. Charles Christensen officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. St. Peter Funeral Home-Klein Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
Leona was born on April 24, 1920 in Granby Township, Nicollet County to Ernest and Orma (Smith) Betzing.
She is survived by brothers, Carl Betzing and his wife, Pearl of Nicollet, and Ernest Betzing and his wife, Yvonne of Shreveport, LA. She is also survived by a niece and nephew.
