June M. Anderson, age 91 of St. Peter passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at Trinity Lutheran Church in St. Peter. Burial will follow at Greenhill Cemetery, St. Peter. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials preferred to Trinity Lutheran Church. St. Peter Funeral Home " Klein Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
June was born on June 3, 1918 in St. Peter to Con and Emma (Bartz) Vogt. She graduated from St. Peter High School in 1937. On May 2, 1938 she was united in marriage to Emil Anderson at her parents' home in St. Peter. June was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church, serving as a Sunday school teacher for 25 years, singing in the church choir with Emil, in the Church Circle and the Amazing Greys. She was also a member of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed playing cards, knitting, crocheting, embroidering dish towels and doing word puzzles.
June was the sweetest and kindest person: Always putting others before herself. She dearly loved her family and husband whom she has greatly missed since his death 6 years ago. She will be missed.
June is survived by her daughters: Judy (Bill) Leonard of St. Peter and Sally (Don) Morss of MT; grandchildren: Bradley (Kym) Leonard, Pamela (Tim) Dempsey, Paul (Maureen) Leonard, and Brett (Alicia) Morss; 8 great grandchildren: Brandon, Jacob, Mitchell, Gilbert, Nathaniel, Clara, Andrew, Madison and Colby; 1 great-great grandchild, Kandece; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
