Joan Crane, age 78 of St. Peter passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 1020 at Grandview Good Samaritan Center in St. Peter surrounded by family and friends.
Memorial service will be held at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at St. Peter Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until the time of the service. Private family burial will be held at a later date.
Joan was born on November 12, 1931 in Milwaukee WI. She lived in St. Peter and retired from the St. Peter State Hospital and the Community Hospital. She loved having coffee with the girls, bingo, playing cards, casino trips, spending time with her family and grandchildren and watching her birds.
She is survived by: daughter: Mary Wilmes (Otis Bell) of Union Hill; sons: Randy (Pauline) Wilmes of Cleveland, and Kenny Crane (Shannon Duckett) of Kasota; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and a sister, Elaine (Phillip) Meyer of Mankato.
She was preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter, a brother, a sister and two husbands: Robert Wilmes and William Crane.
