Audrey F. Palmquist, age 80 of Benicia CA and formerly of Kasota, passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2010.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 pm on Friday, April 9, 2010 at First Presbyterian Church in Kasota with Chris Conlin officiating. Burial will be at Kasota Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm on Thursday at St. Peter Funeral Home " Klein chapel and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church Friday.
Audrey was born on July 1, 1929 in Minneapolis to Charles and Sarah Hale. She graduated as class valedictorian in 1947 from Kasota High School. On February 12, 1950 she was united in marriage to John Palmquist at First Presbyterian Church in Kasota. She was a homemaker, and loving wife and mother. Audrey enjoyed crocheting, cooking, watching TV and was a seamstress. She especially enjoyed helping with her daughter's activities while in school.
Audrey is survived by her husband John, two daughters: Deborah Wilson and her husband Henry of San Dimas CA and Sheila Hastings and husband Rick of Benicia CA; Granddaughter Christine Hastings and two great grandchildren: Alex and Sarah, all of Benicia; brothers: Steven Hale and Gordon Hale and wife Betty of Kasota and nephew Joe Hale of Kasota.
She was preceded in death by her parents and David Palmquist.
