Carl Johanson, age 57 of St. Peter, passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at Immanuel-St. Joseph Hospital in Mankato.
Memorial service will be held 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Trinity Lutheran Church in St. Peter. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. St. Peter Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Carl was born on September 24, 1953 in Wells, MN to Virgil and Barbara (Ekstrom) Johanson. He was an independent person who was sociable and loved being with friends. He enjoyed music and colleted albums, CD's, coins and books.
Carl is survived by a brother: Eric Johanson; sisters: Dara Johanson and Alexia Olson; niece: Leda Troster; nephews: Alex Johanson and Dan Olmanson; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
