Krista Lyn Albrecht Ogden, age 30 formerly of St. Peter died July 21, 2010 at her home in Boise, Idaho.
Memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Trinity Lutheran with Rev. Charles Christensen officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at St. Peter Funeral Home-Klein Chapel and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.
Krista was born November 26, 1979 to John "Jack" and Barb (Skogstad) Albrecht in Mankato, MN. She graduated from St. Peter High School in 1998. Krista attended Mankato State University and graduated from Boise State University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. She loved the outdoors, hiking and camping. Krista enjoyed outdoor concerts, local bands and stand-up comedy. She was a "hippy at heart." Krista also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a positive person who believed change is good.
Krista is survived by her daughter, Kadence Ogden; parents: Jack and Barb; sister, Kari Albrecht; brother, Kyle (Kim) Albrecht; nephew and niece: Kaden and Sadie Albrecht; former husband, Donald Ogden; former mother-in-law, Susie Ogden; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
