Donald LaBarr, age 57 of St. Peter passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2008 at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, February 21, 2008 at Jesus Assembly of God Church in St. Peter. Visitation will be at 1 pm on Thursday at church. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in St. Peter
Donald was born on July 14, 1950 in Waubay, SD to Leo and Caroline LaBarr. He attended school in Summit SD graduating from Summit High School in 1971. He attended South Central College in Mankato, graduating with a degree in auto mechanics. He married Debra Erickson on June 6, 1986 in St. Peter. He enjoyed working on cars, fishing and camping.
He is survived by his wife Deb; children: Donavan LaBarr (friend Crystal), Denell (Jason) Troutfetter, Sara (Jim) Reed, James LaBarr (friend Misty), Jessica (Justin) Krentz, Kimberly Erickson (friend Samuel), Nathaniel Erickson (friend Tina), Caroline LaBarr (friend Able), Douglas LaBarr and Jolene LaBarr; 18 grandchildren; siblings: Katheryn (Tom) Lee, Ralph LaBarr, John (Betty) LaBarr, Julia (Bill) Rohlfing, Helen (Robert) Kuntz and Anita LaBarr; and several other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother George, sister-in-law Judy LaBarr and brother-in-law Terry Matejcek.
