Ann M. Slaybaugh, age 77 of St. Peter, died Saturday, March 22, 2008 at the Benedictine Living Community in St. Peter.
A visitation with family will be held from 10:00-11:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at Saint Peter Funeral Home, Klein Chapel. Burial will follow in Savidge Lake Cemetery, rural Cleveland.
Ann was born on March 21, 1931 in Marshall County, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Harold Leon Slaybaugh on June 16, 1948 in Guthrie, Iowa. They spent 27 years in Marshalltown Iowa, where she worked as a nurse before moving to rural Cleveland in 1984 where she retired in 1999. Ann enjoyed sewing, spending time on the lake, and fishing, especially river fishing. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by a daughter, Barbara (Wallace) Chrisman of Eldora, IA; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Harold Leon Slaybaugh in 1991; and two sons, Harold Dean Slaybaugh and Leonard D. Slaybaugh.
