Kathleen Dorthea Andresen was called to Jesus on October 15, 2008 at Immanuel St. Joseph Hospital in Mankato after a 5 month battle with Cancer.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Monday, October 20, 2008 at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in St. Peter. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 4 to 8 PM at St. Peter Funeral Home-Klein Chapel and continues on Monday one hour prior to services at the church. St. Peter Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Kathleen was born on November 22, 1961 to Joseph E. and Geraldine (Blake) Kramer in Minneapolis, MN. She was a 1980 graduate of Mankato West High School and went on to attend Mankato State University. She was employed at St. Peter Health Care Center, Patrick's and had a self owned cleaning service. She then worked as a teacher's assistant at St. Peter High School for 5 years. On May 29, 2006 she married Jim Andresen. Kathleen then helped run Andresen Plumbing and Heating and Southside Laundry and was a housewife.
Surviving are her Husband Jim Andresen of St. Peter, Daughter Meghan (Josh) Hermel of St. Peter, Brothers: Stephen Kramer of Mankato, Richard (Miriam) Kramer of Chicago, IL and Michael (Yon Cha) Kramer of Aurora, CO. Step Sons: James (Julayne) Andresen of Minneapolis, Steven (Vanessa) Andresen of St. Peter, Scott Andresen of St. Louis Park. Step Daughter Jennifer Kunkel. Grand Daughters: Emmalia, Zoe and Jaelyn and many nieces and nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her father Joseph Kramer, Grandmother Dorothy Hays, and her sister Nancy Schwichtenburg.
