Agnes Brazier, age 94, of St. Peter, formerly of Kasota, died Monday, March 31, 2014 at the Prairie Hill Assisted Living in St. Peter.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. noon, Friday, April 4, 2014 at First Presbyterian Church in Kasota with Rev. Chris Conlin officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the Kasota Hill Cemetery. St. Peter Funeral Home ~Klein Chapel assisted the family.
Agnes was born on November 16, 1919 in Ross Lake Township, Crow Wing County, MN to John August and Bertha (Beneke) Johnson. She is a graduate of Aitkin High School. Agnes was united in marriage to Charles "Cal" Brazier on October 9, 1942. She and Cal were members of the Fiddler Association and she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing, crafts, solitaire and especially spending time with her family.
Agnes is survived by 3 daughters: Carol (Leroy) Haas of Le Sueur, Patricia Poncin of New Ulm, Rosie Sickler of Kasota; 18 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Cal in 2012; son: Roger; two grandchildren: Diane Poncin and John Paul Poncin; great-grandson, Seth Poncin; and two sisters: Evelyn and Christy.
