Lowell Ervin Rolstad, age 83 of St. Peter, died Saturday, October 18, 2008 at his home in St. Peter.
Memorial service will be 1:30 p.m., Saturday, November 8, 2008 at St. Peter Funeral Home " Klein Chapel. Visitation will be one half hour before the service. In lieu of flowers donations to the St. Peter Hospice or hospice of your choice.
Lowell was born on November 6, 1924 to Christ and Oline (Gronne) Rolstad in Minneapolis, MN.
He served in the US Army in WWII in the South Pacific from 1943-1946. he was employed by North Central, Republic and Northwest Airlines and retired in 1986. He was an avid reader and loved WWII stories and movies.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jean of St. Peter; daughter, Bridget (Tom) Blaido of St. Peter, son, Tracy (Pam) Rolstad of Spokane, WA; six grandchildren, Jennifer (Troy) Neumann of Rochester, Lindsey (Mike) Grunst of St. Peter, Corporal Christopher (Kim) Blaido, USMC of North Carolina, Ali, Madi and Zach Rolstad of Spokane; and five great grandchildren.
