Allan Stocker, 50 of Cleveland passed away Saturday Oct. 25, 2008, at ISJ Hospital in Mankato surrounded by many family and friends.
Services are 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Cleveland, with burial in German Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at St. Peter Funeral Home and will continue 1 hour prior to service at the church.
Allan was born September 2, 1958 to Gilbert & Ruth Stocker. He was a 1976 graduate of St. Peter High School. On January 31, 1981 he was united in marriage to Vickie Von Essen. Allan worked for the last 27 years as an owner-operator truck driver. For the past several years he was leased on with Long Haul Trucking in Albertville. Allan took great pride in all that he did and was very proud of his family. He enjoyed riding his Harley, spending time with his family and friends, fishing, camping and spending time in his garden.
He is survived by his wife Vickie; sons: Jason (Mandy) of St. Peter, Eric (Nicole) of Mankato; daughter Samantha of Cleveland; Parents Gilbert and Ruth Stocker of Kasota; sister Julie of Rochester; In-Laws Bob and Betty Von Essen; brothers and sisters in-law: Brad and Julie Von Essen, Cathy & Tim Iten, and Brian Von Essen; nephews and nieces: Teresa (Matt) Snyder, Mike Iten, Jessica Iten, Ryan and Brandon Von Essen, Gabe Stocker and A. J. Huberty.
He was preceded in death by grandparents Edwin and Verna Tolzman, Joe and Ceil Stocker; sister Linda Stocker; uncles Hilary Stocker, Bill Tolzman and Jim Budin.
Allan touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed.
