Donna Mae Miller, age 73 of St. Peter died Sunday, December 14, 2008 at her residence after a lengthy illness.
Memorial services will 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 18, 2008 at St. Peter Funeral Home-Klein Chapel with Rev. Charles Degner officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Donna was born February 20, 1935 in St. Peter, MN to Charles and Hannah (Schwichtenberg) Frey. She graduated from St. Peter High School. Donna was united in marriage to James R. Miller. She had numerous jobs; working in a manufacturing plant, housekeeping at GAC and retired after 20 years as head of housekeeping at St. Peter Community Hospital. Donna was a member of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church and the VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed family and friends, playing cards and casinos.
Donna is survived by her husband James R. Miller of St. Peter; son, James Jr. of Cleveland; grandson Mitch of St. Peter; stepson, Dan and step-granddaughter, Jacqueline of WY; sister, Shirley Forsberg of CA; brother, Gene and wife Gail Frey of Rochester; sister, Ruth Thomas of St. Peter; sister-in-law, Donna Frey of St. Peter; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding Donna in death were her parents, one sister and six brothers.
