Gordon Walter Johnson, age 93 of St. Peter passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2008 at the River's Edge Hospital in St. Peter.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at St. Peter Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9:30 am Wednesday morning until the start of the service at the funeral home.
Gordon served in the military during WWII. After being discharged, he worked construction and eventually worked for the city of St. Peter; retiring in 1980 after 23 years.
He is survived by his wife Hazel; son Ronald (Tanya)of San Ramon, CA; grandsons: Steve (Lisa) of Waco TX and Matt (Heather) of Dallas TX; 4 great grandchildren; one brother: Alan of Battle MN and many nieces nephews and good friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters.
