Jacquelyn Elliott, age 78 of St. Peter passed away on Friday, January 2, 2009 at the Benedictine Living Community in St. Peter.
Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at Trinity Lutheran Church in St. Peter with Eric Natwick officiating. Burial will be at Ottawa Cemetery at 11:00 am on Monday. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 9:00 am until the start of the service at church. St. Peter Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Jacquelyn was born on December 16, 1930 in St. Peter to Berrisford and Alice (Raney) Fifield. She worked as a buyer for Green Giant for 29 years before retiring. Jacquelyn was a member of Trinity Lutheran church in St. Peter and enjoyed walking, helping at the church office, hand sewing frogs and snowmen, writing birthday poems, crossword puzzles and lottery scratch-off tickets that she called her "Chances".
Grateful for having shared her life are her children: Laura (Keith) DeVlaeminck of St. Peter, Lou Anne (Dan) Burg of St. Peter and Berrisford Elliot of Guerneville CA; grandchildren: Kelsie (Bob) Peters of St. Peter, Abby DeVlaeminck (fianc" Lance Wilson) of Milwaukee WI and Raney Elliott of CA; great-grandchild Henry Peters; sisters: Beverly (Merwyn) Roufs, Candice (Ron) Berg, and Gloria (Virgil) Weinhold and several other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Leslie and sister Beryll.
