Kathryne Nolan, age 94 of St. Peter passed away on Friday, July 17, 2009 at Grandview Good Samaritan Center in St. Peter.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at the Church of St. Peter in St. Peter with Fr. Harry Behan officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, St. Peter. Visitation will be from 4:00 " 7:00 pm on Monday at the church with a 7:00 pm prayer service. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. St. Peter Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Kathryne was born on February 21, 1915 to Andrew and Nancy (Herberg) Adolphson in St. Peter. She graduated from St. Peter High School in 1933. Kate Married Edwin "Bud" Baker in 1934 at St. Mary's Catholic Church parish house. He passed away on May 15, 1971. On January 10, 1977, she married Louis Nolan in Santa Barbara, CA. He passed away in March of 1999. She was employed as a sales clerk at Adolphson Shoe Store, Carlson's Lady Apparel and Braun's Department Store over a 30 years span.

Kate is survived by her daughter, Kathleen "Kathy" (Keith) Keogh of St. Peter; daughter-in-law Lillian Baker of Rochester; seven grandchildren: Kim (Jim) Burg, Kelley (Brad) Reese, Katie (Al) Erickson all of St. Peter, Kristine Logvin of Pembrook Pines FL, Terry (Glee) Baker of Blooming Prairie, Julie Baker of Boston MA and Jeff (Tracy) Baker of Lakeville; 12 great-grandchildren: Brady and Brett Reese, Lauren and Cody Erickson, Dane and Alyra Logvin, Elijah, Isaac and Hasea Baker, Ben, Andie Kay and Alex Baker; brother, Karl (Dorothy) Adolphson of Mankato; and sister-in-law Sophie Adolphson of St. Peter; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by both husbands; son, Richard Baker; grandson, Kevin Keogh, three brothers: George, Rueben and Waldo; and four sisters: Esther Johnson, Margaret Anderson, Eileen Johnson and Arlene Adolphson.
