Tyler was born on April 11, 1985 to Mark Heilman and Deb Voss. He grew up in the St. Peter area and graduated from St. Peter High School in 2003. After high school, Tyler worked at various places in the St. Peter area doing landscaping and blacktopping. He also worked at the Caribou Gun Club in Le Sueur. Family was very important to Tyler, especially his partner of seven years Abby Bauleke and their son Haydin, who was blessed to them on December 5, 2005. Tyler was a very loving and caring person to family and friends. Tyler had such a generous heart, he would do anything for anyone, and did! Tyler was hardly ever seen without a smile and was a very happy go lucky person. Tyler's greatest joy was spending time with his son, Haydin. Tyler also enjoyed four-wheeling, camping, fishing, swimming, spending time with friends, and just about any outdoor activity. Tyler's love for life will live on in our hearts forever.

He is survived by his mother, Deb Voss of St. Peter; father, Mark Heilman of Kasota; loving partner, Abby Bauleke and son, Haydin Heilman of Kasota; grandparents, Earl and Mary Jane Voss of Le Sueur; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; Abby's parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and siblings; and many, many friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Don Heilman and Yvonne Heilman; first cousin, Troy Nielsen; and uncle, Kevin Musel; many great aunts and uncles.
