Ronald M. "Roundy" Domras, age 59 of St. Peter, died Sunday, July 26, 2009 at Immanuel St. Joseph's Hospital in Mankato.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 30, 2009 at the First Presbyterian Church in Kasota with Pastor Jerry David officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at St. Peter Funeral Home and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Kasota Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
Ronald Marvin was born May 31, 1950 to Alton and Barbara (Wolfram) Domras in Shakopee, MN. He graduated from St. Peter High School in 1968. On July 26, 1997, Ronald was united in marriage to Christine Tischer at the First Presbyterian Church in Kasota. He was employed by Babcock and Geldner Construction and most recently Spalj Construction in Deerwood. Ronald was a member of First Presbyterian Church and enjoyed playing in bands, camping, fishing, hunting, NASCAR, baseball, football, golf, and spending time with his family and friends.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Christine of St. Peter; mother Barbara Domras of Kasota; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Vivian and Wayne Tischer of Mankato; brother, William (Vicky) Domras of Kasota; siblings-in-law: Dan (Jolene) Tischer of Garden City, Todd (Jodi) Tischer of St. Cloud, Scott (Lonni) Tischer of Mankato, and Heidi (Jim) Schabert of Litchfield; several nieces and nephews: Jeff, Michele, Mike, Jamie, Nicole, Kyle, Katie, Taylor, Javlyn, Samantha, Tanner, Jillian, Dylan, Shayne, Rylie, Kamiryn, Layton, Cody, and Harli; six great-nephews; and three great-nieces.
Ronald was preceded in death by his father, Alton; paternal and maternal grandparents; brother, Greg Domras; and niece, Kristi.
