Olive Katherine Thomas, 101, passed away on March 2, 2013 at the Eden Care Facility in Mesa, Arizona. Born September 9, 1911 in Lake Wilson, Minnesota to Oliver Herbert and Anna Lavada Wornson. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert (Cobby) Thomas and brother Ralph Gordon (Pete) Wornson. She is survived by nephews Peter Wornson (Katsuko), John Wornson (Lucy), William Thomas and nieces Mary White (Robert), Paula Krugel (Joe), Mary Pope, Ann Nelson, Patricia LaMont and Jane Klein and cousin Dorothy Johnson.
The family moved to Kasota, Minnesota in 1926. Olive worked at Brett's Department Store from 1937-1979 becoming manager of the Dry Goods Department. She married Cobby in 1942 and moved to St. Peter. In 1980 Olive and Cobby built a winter home in Mesa, Arizona.
Funeral Services will be on Friday, March 22nd at 11:00 with a Visitation starting at 10:00 at the Union Presbyterian Church in St. Peter.
