Arnold "Arnie" A. Jaster

Arnold “Arnie” Jaster, age 85 of St. Peter, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at home surrounded by family.

Arnold was born March 24, 1937 in St. Peter to Otto and Helma (Struck) Jaster. He graduated from St. Peter High School and worked several jobs through his life including: delivering milk for Bongards, hauling peas and sweet corn for Green Giant, farming, working for Cargill, as a caretaker at a rest stop, and as a janitor at church. Arnie was united in marriage to LaVone M. Lurth on April 1, 1966. He was proud of his membership at St. Peter Lutheran and served on the counting and maintenance committees. Arnie enjoyed fishing, playing cards with family, travel, camping and most importantly time with his family.

Left to remember Arnie are: his wife, Bonnie; Children: Monica (Al) Manzey, Mark (Kim), and Kimberly (Jason) Gibbs; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sister, Elaine (Wayne) Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents.
