Connie M. Ohm

Connie M. Ohm, age 70 of Kasota, passed away on Wednesday June 23, 2021 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.

Funeral service is 2:00pm Saturday, July 10, 2021 at New Creation Church in Mankato with visitation at 1:00pm. Burial will be at Woodland Hills Memorial Park, Mankato. Condolences for the family can be left at www.saintpeterfuneralhome.com. In Lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.

Connie Marie was born January 07, 1951 in Benson MN to Helmer and Deloris (Ellingson) Forbord. She graduated from Benson High School and then continued her education in Mankato, receiving her degree in graphic arts. Connie was united in marriage to Ellsworth R. Ohm on September 11, 1971 in Benson. She was employed at ADC in Le Sueur and enjoyed painting, whether that was face painting or murals.  Connie stayed active in New Creation Church, clown club and balloon ministry; was a member of the Sweet Adelines; and helped with Art at Ecumen Prairie Hill.

Left to remember Connie are her husband, Ellsworth “Russ”, brothers: Jim (Jean) and Roger Forbord; sisters-in-law: Doris (Paul) Oakland, Deloris (Herman) Junge, Scherry (Michael) Berg, LaVaughn Ohm and Judy  Ohm; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sons: Nathan and Kevin; and brothers: Russell and Herbert.
