Diane K. (Engesser/Myhra) Braun

Diane K. Braun, age 86 of St. Peter, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023 surrounded by family.

Diane Kay was born March 18, 1937 in St. Peter to Harold B. and Grace M. (Swenson) Engesser. She was raised in St. Peter and is a graduate of St. Peter High School. Diane was united in marriage to Charles "Dick" Myhra and they had five children. She later married Richard Braun. Diane spent 50+ years working in hospitality, 31 of those as a waitress and hostess at Whiskey River. She enjoyed live music events, playing pfeffer, traveling, and spending time with friends. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family. 

Left to remember Diane are her children: Dick (Julie) Myhra, Lori Myhra, Kristi Myhra, Mike (Medea) Myhra, and Trudy (Joe) Thelemann; bonus son, Otis (Lucy) Zanders; step children: Teri (Mark) Spence, Brad (Ann) Braun, Brian (Kari) Braun, Bob (Stephanie) Braun, and Cheryl (Pat) Welch; 25 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; sister, Vonnie (Engesser) Olsen; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her: parents; husband, Rich; grandson, Ben Braun; brother Harold (Bev) Engesser; four brothers-in-law; and four sisters-in-law.
