Eva B. Butterfield, age 92 of Kasota, passed peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, June 3, 2019 at Rivers Edge Hospital in St. Peter.
Funeral service will be 11:30am Friday at First Presbyterian Church, Kasota with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be at Kasota Hill Cemetery. Condolences can be left for the family at www.saintpeterfuneralhome.com.
Eva Belle Was born November 15, 1926 in Garden City to Grover and Bessie (Buckles) Willson. She lived in Garden City until age seven when the family moved to Kasota. She graduated from Kasota High School as class Valedictorian. She was united in marriage to Daniel Butterfield on July 3, 1948. Eva was a home maker and also worked at the Holiday House, ran the Butterfield Café in Kasota and also the Sinclair Station with her husband. She was a long time member of First Presbyterian, the Fire Department Ladies Aux., American Legion and VFW Aux, and the Historical Society. She enjoyed playing cards and BINGO, cooking and baking, trips to Texas and Mexico, being with friends, and especially spending time with her family.
Left to remember Eva are her son Daniel (Joleen); grandchildren: Jim (Bridget) Klein, Bob (Kris) Klein, Cari (Joe) Calderone, Clint (Shanon) Butterfield and Jennifer (Adam) Wilmes; 11 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Daniel, daughter Sandra Klein, brothers: Dan, Warren, Lee, Bob, Wayne and Bill; and sisters: Rhonda and Dorothy.
