James Robert Carter

James Robert Carter was born October 19, 1964, in St. Peter to Robert J. and Ruth Louise (Eiserman) Carter. He attended St. Peter Lutheran Church and School and was a graduate of St. Peter High School. He resided with his parents in St. Peter prior to his moving to Horizon Homes in Mankato .

His joke telling and smile sharing was the infectious part of his sense of humor. Jimmy was a loving and friendly character that enjoyed the family get-togethers, especially the Thanksgiving stuffing. He was an avid Twins fan and enjoyed loud classic rock music.

While being in the Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato, James Robert Carter received his angel wings on Thursday, May 30, 2024 and joined his parents in heaven. He is survived by several cousins and their families.

Funeral service will be held at 12 noon Thursday, June 6, 2024, at St. Peter Funeral Home with visitation two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Horizon Homes.
