Jennifer Lynn Maas (Drummer), age 40, of Kasota, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2019. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m., on Friday, September 13, 2019 at the St. Peter Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m., on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Union Presbyterian Church, St. Peter, with visitation one hour prior at the church. Burial will take place in Kasota Hill Cemetery. St. Peter Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Jennifer was born on March 11, 1979 in Mankato, MN to Stephen and Teresa Drummer. She was the youngest of three girls. She graduated from St. Peter High School in 1997, where she met her husband Samuel Maas. Jennifer and Samuel were married at Union Presbyterian Church in St. Peter, MN on October 12, 2002. They made their home in Kasota, MN and welcomed three children. She was a dedicated employee of Nicollet County Human Services for more than 20 years where she developed many life long friendships. Outside of work, her family was her priority. She was an enthusiastic dance mom and could be found at circle time every week. She also enjoyed being outside close to the water and traveling with her family.
Those whom she loved well included her husband of 17 years, Samuel Maas; her children, Kia (16), Noah (12) and Lyndon (2); parents, Stephen and Teresa Drummer; sisters, Carri Pool and Stephanie Drummer; parents-in-law, Darwin and Joy Maas; sister-in-law, Teri Hopkins; brother-in-law, Josh Hopkins; grandmothers, LaVaughn Drummer and Darlene Boehne, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She is now reunited with her grandfathers, Raymond Drummer, Larry Fierke, and Edwin Boehne; grandmother, Barbara Mercier; aunt, Cheryl Hammock (Putter); uncle, Paul (Chico) Heilman; brother-in-law, Jason Pool.
The family would like to thank everyone for all the love and support that has been sent to them during this time. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up for Sam and the kids at Pioneer Bank in St. Peter, MN under Jennifer Maas Benefit.
