Judith Ann Flatt

Judith Ann Flatt, 82, of St. Peter, went to be with the Lord Monday, January 8, 2024.

Judy was born August 6, 1941 in St. Peter to Mac and Marcella (Parsons) Miller. She married Everett Flatt in 1990.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Everett Flatt, brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Roberta Miller, sister, JoAnne Miller, nephew-in-law, Thomas Deming, and son–in-law Kevin Bowers.

She is survived by Everett’s children, Sherri Bursell, Michelle Bowers, Kathy (Rich) Busch and Tim(CJ) Flatt- Powell,  her nephew, Robin (Kati) Miller, and nieces, Rhonda Deming, and Renee (Mark) Sherman.

She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She attended Macalester College and Mankato State College for elementary education. She taught in Virginia, MN for 5 years. Later she joined the Military School System working in the Philippines and Germany as a librarian. Following her father’s passing, she came back to St. Peter to care for her mother and worked for the Minnesota Regional Library.

She loved reading and watching old movies, especially musicals. She and Everett became interested in genealogy. They enjoyed traveling to see family in Illinois, Ohio and Arizona.

Memorial service will be held 3:00pm Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Living Truth Fellowship, St. Peter with visitation one hour prior.
