Kathryn Ann Bahl

Kathryn Ann Bahl, beloved wife, mother, and friend, peacefully passed away on April 7, 2025, at the age of 68, following a broken heart after the loss of her dear husband, Jim. She has now joined him in heaven.

Known as "Mama Bear" to her two cubs, Jenny and Kevin; Kathy was the heart and soul of her family, the glue that kept the family bond strong. With an open and giving spirit, she welcomed many family members and friends into her home over the years, earning the title of "bonus mom" to so many.

Kathy was a hard-working woman who wore many hats, from being a devoted mom to a daycare provider, house mover, house cleaner, church custodian, and most importantly, the supportive and caring wife to Jim, the love of her life.

Her infectious smile and the unique phrases she coined, affectionately known as “Kathyisms,” will be deeply missed. One of her most memorable sayings was, "The apple doesn’t fall far from the pie."

Kathy will be profoundly missed by her children, family, friends, and all who were touched by her kindness and love.

A Celebration of Kathy’s life will take place at a later date.
