Lois Mae Appel

Lois Mae Appel, age 83 of St. Peter, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Ridgeview Medical Center, Le Sueur.

Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 am Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at the Catholic Church of St. Peter with visitation beginning at 9:30am. Burial will be at Saint Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery, Ivanhoe. St. Peter Funeral home is assisting the family. www.saintpeterfuneralhome.com

Lois Mae was born on May 29, 1935 in Iona, MN to Leo and Elizabeth (Stodden) Appel. With her mother’s passing, she moved to Sleepy Eye in 2003 with her sister Carol and then later moved to St. Peter. She enjoyed embroidery, word searches, puzzles, flowers, walking and time outside in her gazebo.

Left to remember Lois are her siblings: Carol Lietz, Bob, Jim, John, Don, Grace Odens, Gary and Marian Carpenter; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers: an infant, LaVern, Leonard and Ray.
